The ITU-APT Foundation of India (IAFI) is organizing a national conference on 19th June 2025 in New Delhi to highlight the critical importance of unlocking the Lower 6GHz band for Wi-Fi in India. As the country advances toward digital transformation and universal broadband access, next-generation Wi-Fi technologies such as Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 are essential for meeting future connectivity demands. This conference will bring together key government stakeholders, industry leaders, and technical experts to discuss spectrum innovation, global regulatory developments, and the role of unlicensed spectrum in accelerating India's digital growth.
